Hormel Foods Corp. is once again being recognized for employing military veterans.

Hormel Foods announced Tuesday it has been recognized for the second year on the Military Times EDGE magazine Best for Vets: Employers list.

The company was ranked No. 52 on this year’s list, which evaluates the many factors that make a company a good fit for military veterans and their families.

Hormel Foods was also named a Top 100 Military Friendly Employer in November by Victory Media, publisher of G.I. Jobs and Military Spouse, for the second straight year.

“We have found that military veterans prove to be exceptional employees and are a good fit for our company,” said Larry C. Lyons, vice president of human resources, Hormel Foods. “We are honored to receive this recognition for our efforts in providing veterans opportunities.”
