The Boy and Girl Scouts of Austin came together again Saturday for the annual Scouting for Food food drive. Eighty-two people that included parents and scouts took part in the drive, and they brought in 3,157.5 pounds of food, up about 15 percent from last year’s drive. All the food collected went to the Salvation Army.
