Kieth and Carolyn Eilertson announce the engagement of their daughter Kirsten Eilertson to Benjamin Shaby, the son of Dr. Steven and Diane Shaby.

Eilertson is a 2002 Austin graduate and graduated from St. Olaf College in 2006 with a degree in math and a PhD in statistics in 2011 from Cornell University. Benjamin graduated from Westhill High School in Stamford Conn., in 1997 and graduated from Stanford University in 2001 and Cornell University in 2009 with a PhD in statistics.

Both are employed as faculty members at Penn State University.

The couple will wed on June 21 in Saratoga, Calif.

They will live in State College, Penn. after the wedding.
