The Austin boys basketball team took care of business in a 61-48 win at Owatonna (9-14 overall, 6-10 Big Nine) Friday.

The Huskies crept to within seven with five minutes left, but Ajuda Nywesh, who scored 22 points hit shot in the lane and Bret Lukes, who had 15 points and five assists, hit a pair of jump-shots to put the game out of reach.

The No. 4 ranked Packers (20-3 overall, 15-0 Big Nine) play at Mankato East Saturday. If Austin wins that game it will clinch a share of its third straight Big Nine title.

Austin 34 27 — 61

Owatonna 24 24 — 48

Austin scoring: Ajuda Nywesh, 22; Zach Wessels, 16; Bret Lukes 15; Gach Gach 8
