Lyle-Pacelli boys knock off Burros

The Lyle-Pacelli boys basketball finished its regular season on a high note as it beat Lanesboro (16-9 overall, 14-4 SEC) 67-64 in Pacelli Gym Friday.

Brennen Ruis put LP up 65-64 when he banked in a shot with 18 seconds left.

“For us to play like this at home and gain some confidence and hopefully some momentum is huge for us,” LP head coach Dean DeBoer said. “We played our best team game in a couple weeks.”

Mark Manuon had 16 points to lead LP (8-16 overall, 7-11 SEC).

LP finishes the season in third place in the SEC West Division.
