Brothers face felony drug sale charges

Two area men face felony charges after a confidential informant met with them and made deals for methamphetamine.

Wayne Douglas Nystel, 56, and Robert Leon Nystel, 62, of Austin, face felony charges for drug sale. Wayne faces first-degree drug sale of more than 10 grams of meth, second-degree drug sale of more than 3 grams of meth and two counts of third-degree drug sale. Robert faces one charge of third-degree drug sale.

According to the court complaint, the confidential informant went to Mapleview and met with the Nystels on Oct. 16, Nov. 14, and Dec. 12 and turned over the drugs to a detective.

Wayne and Robert have court appearances set for Feb. 20 in Mower County Court.
