The Southland girls basketball team beat Winona Cotter (7-4 overall) 63-50 in Winona Thursday.

The Rebels (5-5 overall) were led by McKenzie Kirtz scored 22 points.

“We matched up with them pretty well,” LP head coach Bob Sheehan said. “We pressed them and got a few easy buckets.”
