Austin sports teams are helping the community paint the town starting this week.

Austin High School will host events in partnership with the Paint the Town Pink, with proceeds from activities going to fighting cancer.

Though the third annual Paint the Town Pink officially runs Feb. 14-23, many events are happening earlier.

The high school DECA program will also sell an exclusive, Austin High School “Packers Crush out Cancer” T-shirts. All profits will go to Paint the Town Pink.

AHS Paint the Town Pink sporting events:

Jan. 30, 6 p.m. — Boys Swim and Dive vs. John Marshall at Ellis Middle School’s Bud Higgins pool

Feb. 1, 1 p.m. — Girls Hockey vs. Winona at Riverside Arena

Feb. 11, 7:30 p.m. — Girls Basketball vs. John Marshall at Austin High School

Feb. 15, 3 p.m. — Boys Hockey vs. John Marshall at Riverside Arena

Feb. 21, 7:30 p.m. — Boys Basketball vs. Faribault at Austin High School
