Nywesh pours in 28 as Packers blow past Panthers

The No. 4 Packers rattled off their sixth straight win behind the hot shooting of Ajuda Nywesh in a 75-46 win at Rochester Century (8-11 overall, 5-7 Big NIne) in a boys basketball game Friday.

Nywesh poured in 28 points as he went 10-for-12 from the field and 7-for-9 on the 3s. Nywesh scored 20 of his points in the first half and he added three assists and seven steals.

“Ajuda was on fire tonight,” Austin head coach Kris Fadness said. “We played real well.”

Austin (16-3 overall, 11-0 Big Nine) jumped out to a 13-0 lead to start the game and it forced 26 turnovers in the win.
