Letter: We all have the right to decide our own beliefs

Once again the local veteran has succeeded in getting my attention (letter to the editor “Is religion fact or fiction? You decide,” Jan. 10).

He is right about one thing — we all have the right to decide if we wish to believe or not believe in God. Evidently to the nonbeliever, the Bible is fiction. To the believer it is fact, and the writers of the Bible were inspired by the spirit of God. In the Bible, it says, “He who believeth and is baptized shall be saved, and he who believeth not shall be condemned.”

Most of us know where the unbeliever is headed, and it isn’t up. Please don’t say you haven’t been warned!
