Hayfield girls top Blooming Prairie

The Hayfield girls basketball team used a second half run to beat Blooming Prairie 62-53 in Hayfield Tuesday.

The Vikings (13-3 overall) led by just one at the half, but they made their move in the second frame as they forced 20 BP turnovers in the win. Dani Wagner had 17 points for the Vikings.

“We didn’t shoot well, but we’re very happy to come up with a win,” Hayfield head coach Fred Kindschy said.

Sara Noble had 19 points for BP (10-4 overall) and Taylor Hagen had 12 points and 14 rebounds.
