The Grand Meadow girls basketball team made a big comeback, but they couldn’t close the deal in a 62-61 overtime loss at LeRoy-Ostrander (6-4 overall, 4-4 SEC) Monday.

GM trailed 62-59 at the end of overtime when Rachel Oehlke was fouled on a 3-point attempt. Oehlke made the first two free throws, but missed the third. GM’s Jamie Stevens pulled down an offensive rebound, but couldn’t finish the put-back as time expired.

Rio Landers hit a late 3-pointer for GM (5-8 overall, 4-4 SEC) to force the extra session after the Larks trailed 35-21 at the half.

Three players fouled out for each team.
