BP boys beat USC

The Blooming Prairie boys basketball team beat United South Central (10-4 overall, 4-3 Gopher) 75-55 in BP Monday.

BP head coach John Bruns said his whole squad stepped up in the win.

“Jake Decker, Scott Romeo, Weston Fiebiger, Collin Yankoviak, and Anthony Nelson played great minutes at the guard positions and had great energy throughout the game,” Bruns said. “Defensively they contained the USC offense and forced many turnovers and offensively they played with confidence and handled USC’s pressure defense.”

John Rumpza had 23 points and 15 rebounds for BP (9-5 overall, 4-3 Gopher).
