The Hayfield girls basketball team was rolling on all cylinders as it topped Lake City (3-4 overall, 1-3 HVL) 81-45 in Hayfield Tuesday.

The Vikings (5-1 overall, 4-1 HVL) were forcing turnovers, hitting shots and sharing the ball in the win as Jo Bungum led the way with 19 points.

“We looked really good and we really shot well,” Hayfield head coach Fred Kindschy said. “We passed very unselfishly and it was one of those games were you look back as a coach and say that’s what we’re trying to do.”
