(8 TIE) Austin girls cross country team wins Big Nine title.
The Packers weren’t necessarily thinking about making history when this past cross country season began, but that’s exactly what they did. The Packers relied on a strong group of middle school runners as they notched Austin’s first girls Big Nine cross country title in school history. The team was led by four-time state qualifier Madison Overby, and Paiton Schwab, Abby Lewis, Morgan Hose, Tasia Martisonson, Justice Tabor and Ochudo Cham all stepped up, as well.
