OFFENSE

Trenton Bleifus, Grand Meadow, Quarterback

The senior led the Superlarks (13-1 overall) to a Class nine-man state football title as he threw for 1,524 yards, 15 TDs and six interceptions. Bleifus also ran for 718 yards (5.1 per carry) and 20 TDs.

Landon Jacobson, Grand Meadow, Running back

The junior had plenty of highlight runs throughout the season that included stiff-arms, juke moves and break-away sprints as he ran for 1,900 yards (7.4 per carry) and scored 29 TDs and he hauled in 13 passes for 272 yards (20.9 per catch) and one TD.

Nate Conner, Austin, Running back

The undersized, but quick sophomore racked up 863 rushing yards (6.5 per carry) and 9 TDs for the Packers (5-5 overall). Conner also caught eight passes for 38 yards and threw for 53 yards and a TD.

Jake Decker, Blooming Prairie,Running back

The junior provided BP with a lot of offense as he racked up 1,139 total yards and 17 touchdowns. Decker ran for 851 yards (5.7 per carry) and 14 scores and hauled in 30 catches for 288 yards (9.6 per catch) and three TDs.

Cole Sunde, Blooming Prairie, Wide receiver

The junior speedster made a lot of big plays for the Blossoms as he hauled in 44 passes for 886 yards (19.5 per catch) and 12 TDs and he ran for 293 yards (6.3 per carry) and three TDs.

Zach Wessels, Austin, Wide receiver

The senior came back to football after using a year to focus on basketball and he didn’t miss a beat. Wessels finished with 58 catches for 744 yards (12.8 per catch) and eight TDs for the Packers. Wessels was named to the AP All-State football second team.

Bret Lukes, Austin, Wide receiver

The senior was solid over the middle for Austin as he caught 50 passes for 825 yards (16.5 per catch) and nine TDs. Lukes also averaged 19.8 yards on kick returns with one TD.

Trent Strunk, Blooming Prairie, Offensive line

The junior gave the Awesome Blossoms some versatility as he was a strong run blocker and he was able to give BP some good pull blocking.

Andrew Hagan, Austin, Offensive line

The senior made the move to center this season and he was integral in the Packers’ rushing attack and pass blocking scheme.

Garrison Mindrup, Hayfield, Offensive line

The senior helped lead Vikings (4-5 overall) to 1,500 rushing yards in nine games.

Joe Grabau, Austin, Offensive line

The senior put on some size over the summer and was able to give Austin a boost up front.

Isaac Tangen, Grand Meadow, Offensive line

The senior emerged as a physical force and a leader for Superlarks in their state title run.

DEFENSE

Carter Pesch, Hayfield, Safety

The senior racked up 81 tackles, 3 interceptions, 2 fumbles forced and 3 fumble recoveries.

Anthony Nelson, Blooming Prairie, Safety

The sophomore finished the season with 82 tackles, 2 interceptions and 5 passes defensed.

Blake Olson, Grand Meadow, Cornerback

The junior had 75 tackles, 4 interceptions and 3 fumble recoveries for the Larks.

Ajuda Nywesh, Austin, Cornerback

The senior made some big plays for Austin as he finished with 10 passes defensed, 3 interceptions, 28 tackles, 2 tackles for a loss and 1 fumble recovery.

Landon Jacobson, Grand Meadow, Linebacker

The hard-hitting junior was in on 163 tackles, and he had 7 sacks, 1 fumble recovery and 1 interception.

Elijah Dahmen, Austin, Linebacker

The senior racked up 93 tackles for the Packers and he added 10 tackles for a loss, 1 sack, 1 interception, 1 forced fumble and 2 fumble recoveries.

Trenton Bleifus, Grand Meadow, Linebacker

The senior made the switch from safety to line backer halfway through the season. He finished with 112 tackles, 3 interceptions and 1 sack.

Kole Igou, Austin, Linebacker

The junior finished with 103 tackles, 9 tackles for a loss, 2 sacks and 1 fumble recovery.

Gabe Gerstner, Austin, Defensive line

The high-energy senior was a major playmaker and a leader for the Packers as he finished the season with 11 sacks and 25 tackles for a loss. Gerstner also racked up 69 total tackles, 3 fumble recoveries and 2 forced fumbles.

Wyatt Richardson, Grand Meadow, Defensive line

The junior ate up a lot of blockers to clear space for GM’s linebackers and he also made his own fair share of plays as he finished with 91 tackles and 6 sacks.

Isaac Tangen, Grand Meadow, Defensive line

The senior was a major playmaker for the Larks as he racked up 108 tackles, 4 sacks and 2 fumble recoveries.

HONORABLE MENTION

John Rumpza, Blooming Prairie, Quarterback

The senior completed 62.9 percent of his passes for 2,778 yards, 30 TDs and 13 interceptions for the Awesome Blossoms (10-1 overall). Rumpza also ran for 113 yards (1.4 per carry) and 3 TDs.

Ryan Synoground, Austin, Quarterback

The senior threw for 1,741 yards, 17 TDs and eight interceptions while completing 55 percent of his passes for the Packers. Synoground also ran for 335 yards and 7 TDs.

Blake Benson, Grand Meadow, Defensive end

The freshman saw his playing time increase throughout the season and he finished the season with 86 tackles, seven sacks and two fumble recoveries.

Jordan Miland, Grand Meadow, Linebacker

The junior finished with 97 tackles, five sacks and two fumble recoveries.

Tony Baudler, Austin, Defensive line

The senior finished with eight tackles for a loss and five sacks to go with his 30 total tackles.

Cole Sunde, Blooming Prairie, Cornerback

The junior made plenty of big plays for the Blossoms as he picked off five passes and ran one of them back for a TD.

Lucas Grass, LeRoy-Ostrander, Linebacker

The senior racked up 120 tackles for the Cardinals (3-6 overall) and he added six sacks, one interception and 2 fumble recoveries.

Weston Fiebiger, Blooming Prairie, wide receiver/linebacker

Although an injury slowed him down this season, Fiebiger still racked up 60 tackles and five tackles for a loss on defense and he hauled in 39 catches for 531 yards and three TDs on offense.

Daniel Bollingberg, Lyle-Pacelli, Running back

Bollingberg ran for 1,159 yards (5.9 per carry) and 17 TDs for the Athletics (1-8 overall).

Jordan Hart, Lyle-Pacelli, quarterback,

Hart ran for 488 yards (5 per carry) and seven touchdowns and he threw for 596 yards, two TDs and three interceptions.

Nate Bunne, LeRoy-Ostrander, wide receiver

The senior had 550 yards rushing, 615 yards receiving and 13 touchdowns for the Cardinals.

Jackson Koenigs, Southland, Linebacker

The sophomore had 89 tackles, six quarterback sacks and two fumble recoveries.

Alex Ruechel, Southland, Receiver/Safety

The senior had 25 receptions on offense for 289 yards and four touchdowns while defensively he had 68 tackles and three inceptions.

Merrick Ducharme, Hayfield, Linebacker

The senior had 65 tackles, one interception and two fumbles forced.

Cole Kruger, Hayfield, Running back/wide receiver

The senior had 637 yards rushing and four TDs and 169 receiving yards and four TDs.
