Here are the picks:

Carolina at Atlanta

The Panthers have a lot more to play for than Atlanta.

PANTHERS 27, FALCONS 13

Baltimore at Cincinnati

As they showed in last week’s 41-7 loss to the Patriots, the Ravens just aren’t that good this year. That’s what happens when you trade Anquan Boldin for nothing and pay Joe Flacco like he’s Joe Montana.

BENGALS 20, RAVENS 13

Houston at Tennessee

The Texans have worked hard to get in position for the top pick in the NFL draft. They’re not about to start trying to win now.

TITANS 27, TEXANS 3

Jacksonville at Indianpolis

The Colts have an outside shot at moving up a seed, so they will play to win this game.

COLTS 31, JAGUARS 17

N.Y. Jets at Miami

I believed in the Dolphins last week and they re-payed me by getting shutout. I think they’ll bounce back.

DOLPHINS 23, JETS 20

Detroit at Minnesota

The Vikings have to win their last game in the Metrodome? Right?

VIKINGS 21, LIONS 20

Washington at N.Y. Giants

The Redskins have been looking towards this week for a long time now. They just want to get it over with.

GIANTS 27, REDSKINS 17

Cleveland at Pittsburgh

The Steelers have been playing real good and they could be a dangerous team if they sneak into the postseason.

STEELERS 27, BROWNS 14

Denver at Oakland

The Broncos have a chance to lock up the top seed in the AFC and Peyton Manning has a chance to add to his TD record against the one of the worst defenses in the NFL. I think I see where this is headed.

BRONCOS 44, RAIDERS 27

Buffalo at New England

The Patriots will take care of business.

PATRIOTS 21, BILLS 13

Tampa Bay at New Orleans

The Saints may have to win this one to get into the playoffs.

SAINTS 27, BUCS 23

San Francisco at Arizona

The 49ers don’t have anything to play for and Arizona will be playing for a chance at the playoffs.

CARDINALS 27, 49ERS 21

Kansas City at San Diego

The Chiefs have nothing to gain and Chargers must win to have a chance at playoffs.

CHARGERS 31, CHIEFS 27

St. Louis at Seattle

The Seahawks let a home game slip last week. I don’t see that happening against the Rams.

SEAHAWKS 27, RAMS 17

Green Bay at Chicago

What better way for Aaron Rodgers to come back then against an arch rival team that initially knocked him out seven weeks ago. The Bears and Lions had their chances to make up ground when Rodgers was out and now the league’s best quarterback is back in the lineup against a Bears’ defense that has struggled all year.

PACKERS 27, BEARS 21

Philadelphia at Dallas

Call it a hunch, but I don’t like how everyone is counting out the Cowboys without Tony Romo. It’s exactly what they want. The Cowboys always play their best when the expectations are low.

Kyle Orton will manage the game and Nick Foles will throw a couple of picks in a high-pressure game.

COWBOYS 20, EAGLES 17

Last week: 11-5; overall: 139-94
