Lyle-Pacelli girls basketball team blows past Houston

The No. 7 ranked Lyle-Pacelli girls basketball team cruised past Houston (4-4 overall, 3-2 SEC) by a score of 85-23 in Houston Friday.

The Athletics (6-0 overall, 5-0 SEC) jumped out to a 34-3 lead to open the game.

Courntey Walter had 18 points, Ann Rysavy and 15 points and Annie Holtz nine points and 10 rebounds.

LP will now have two weeks before its next game.

“Our entire program is energized by our fast start to this season,” LP head coach Justin Morris said. “We’re going to give the kids a chance to get away from basketball next week and hopefully come back refreshed and ready to pick up where they left off.”
