The Hayfield girls basketball team beat Canby (7-3 overall) 59-42 to win the St. Clair Holiday tournament Monday.

The Vikings (8-1 overall), who have won six straight games, were led by Dani Wagner, who scored 25 points.

“It’s a nice win for us,” Hayfield head coach Fred Kindschy said. “Now we head to the new year, where we’ve got some tough games coming up. We’ve got our work cut out for us.”
