Blooming Prairie boys basketball team shoots strong in win over Lyle-Pacelli

The Awesome Blossoms shot the lights out as they topped Lyle-Pacelli 87-46 in Blooming Prairie Thursday.

The Blossoms (3-1 overall) shot 64 percent from the field in the first half as they led 61-25 at the break. BP was led by Anthony Nelson, who scored 15 points and Braden Kocer had 23 points for LP (1-2 overall).

“This was a good game for our younger guys to play in,” LP head coach Dean DeBoer said. “BP played an aggressive, in your face style.”
