The Riverland Community College men’s basketball team beat Gustavus JV 83-74 on the road Saturday.

Zach Hinrichs, a 6-6 center from Lake City, led the Blue Devils (4-1 overall) with 21 points and Austin grad Goliath Oboyo had seven points and 13 rebounds.

“Our guys are playing a lot better team basketball and we’re creating shots for each other,” RCC head coach Scott Koenigs said. “The team is just trying to win together and that’s nice to see.”
