A Riverland Community College club is inviting the public and students to enjoy fun and games to help celebrate its recent successes.

“We are holding a carnival to celebrate our success and show our gratitude,” said Heather Fast, Phi Theta Kappa co-president, in a press release.

Riverland Community College’s Phi Theta Kappa Zeta Eta chapter is hosting a carnival to celebrate the club winning several regional awards and two international awards last spring.

“We strive to do all that we can to help both students at Riverland and throughout the community to succeed,” Fast said in the press release.

The carnival is from 3 to 5 p.m. Wednesday in the east cafeteria of the Austin campus. The carnival is open to the public, but Riverland students will get three free tickets.

Games will be available for children, including a duck pond, ring toss, bean bag toss, face painting and more. Children and adults will have a chance to earn prizes.

Popcorn and beverages will be provided.

Tickets are five for a $1 and will be available for purchase at the door.
