The Austin girls hockey team lost 4-2 at Rochester Mayo (1-0 overall, 1-0 Big Nine) Thursday.

The Packers (1-1 overall, 0-1 Big Nine) were out-shot 42-16 in the loss.

Chloe Summefield scored a goal for the Packers to put them up 1-0 and Myia Hoium had a shorthanded goal to pull Austin within 3-2 in the third period.

Mara Overby stopped 38 shots in net in her first start of the season at goalie for Austin.
