Hagen leads Blossoms past Triton

The Blooming Prairie girls basketball team opened its season with a 51-21 win at Triton (0-1 overall) Friday.

Taylor Hagen had 20 points, six rebounds and seven blocks to lead the Awesome Blossoms (1-0 overall). BP opened the game on a 20-0 run.

“It’s a good game for our first game of the year,” BP head coach John Worke said.

BP scoring: Taylor Hagen, 20; Sara Noble, 9; Kalyn Naatz, 7; Madison Worke, 5; Lauren Larkowski, 4; Nicole Inwards, 4; Tessa Ivers, 2; free throws: 47 percent (7-for-15)
