A member of St. Augustine Catholic Church in Austin, Michael continued to enjoy sports, participating in the Tough Mudder Run in the Twin Cities, but golf was his most recent love. “Tray” had an unparalleled zest for life and everything in it. He chose carefully, yet freely those who would enter his life. Once one entered his life, it was for good. “Tray” played for keeps. With a blue sparkle in his eyes, he drew countless into his life’s adventure.  Mike was fun to all, a confidant to many and would have given his shirt (or a Mikeism) to anyone.  All of us he left behind have been left with priceless gifts. The gift of humor, the gift of memories and the gift of living life — no matter how brief — to the absolute fullest.
