MINNETONKA — One man has died in an officer-involved shooting in Minnetonka.

Police say officers were called to an apartment building around 8:30 p.m. Wednesday on a report about a person with a gun. Arriving officers found a man with a gun in the underground garage.

Details are sketchy, but police say shots were fired and the man died at the scene.

The Hennepin County sheriff’s office is investigating.

Police call it an isolated incident, and say residents don’t need to fear for their safety.
