The Lyle-Pacelli volleyball team put the finishing touches on its first Southeast Conference West Division titles in at least six years as it beat Schaeffer Academy (5-12 overall, 4-8 SEC) 25-22, 25-18, 25-18 in Rochester Monday.

The Athletics (13-10 overall, 8-3 SEC) will play Mabel-Canton in the SEC title match in Pacelli Gym Oct. 15 at 7:15 p.m.

“It means a lot to me to watch how far these girls have come in the last few years,” LP head coach Lindsay Leif said. “They’ve really bought into the program and its headed in the right direction.”
