Holtz racks up 24 kills as Lyle-Pacelli tops Grand Meadow

The Lyle-Pacelli volleyball team outlasted Grand Meadow (8-11 overall, 7-3 SEC) in four games by scores of 20-25, 25-16, 26-24, 25-10 in GM Thursday.

The Athletics (12-10 overall, 7-2 SEC) trailed the third game 24-22, but they bounced back to win it and they cruised in the fourth game.

“It was back and forth all night and the girls played real well,” LP head coach Lindsay Leif said.

LP sophomore Sarah Holtz had a career-high 24 kills in the win. Bethany Strouf added 12 kills and Madison Truckenmiller had 13 kills for LP.
