The Grand Meadow football team knocked off LeRoy-Ostrander (3-6 overall) 47-14 in the first round of the Section 1 nine-man football tournament in GM Tuesday.

Trenton Bleifus threw for 114 yards and a TD and ran for 119 yards and two TDs in the win for GM (8-1 overall).

No. 3 seeded GM will play at No. 2 Lanesboro Saturday at 7 p.m.

The Burros beat LP 47-36 Oct. 4.
