Bruins tally 11 goals in win over Brookings

The Austin Bruins went on a scoring frenzy as they blasted Brookings (0-7-1 overall) 11-1 in their home opener in Riverside Arena Saturday.

Guillaume Leclerc had a hat trick for the Bruins (7-1 overall) and the Frenchman now has 12 points in eight games.

Josh Bretner had four assists and Luke Dietsch had two goals and two assists for Austin.

Nick Lehr had 23 saves in the win for Austin.
