The Mower County Chapter of the American Red Cross thanks all blood donors who helped make the August 2013 community blood drive a huge success. A total of 192 units were collected during the three-day draw.

A special thanks to the VFW and many volunteers for their help with setup and tear-down. Also, thanks to the following businesses for their contributions and support: Sterling State Bank and Barry Irish and staff, Culligan Water Conditioning, Hy-Vee Food Store, Jim’s Market Place Foods, Cedar Valley Services, Austin Daily Herald, John Wright and KAUS Radio.
