Hayfield volleyball team takes second at home tournament

HAYFIELD – The Hayfield volleyball team finished in second place in its own tournament after it fell to Goodhue 25-23, 20-25, 15-7.

In pool play, the Vikings (7-1 overall) beat Lyle-Pacelli 23-25, 25-16, 15-3, they topped Blooming Prairie 25-14, 25-17, and they beat Lewiston-Altura 25-19, 25-12.

LP (3-4 overall) took seventh place when it beat Leroy-Ostrander (0-8 overall) 25-9, 26-24, Southland finished sixth after losing to Lewiston-Altura 25-19, 25-11, and Blooming Prairie (5-2 overall) took third after it beat Albert Lea 25-21, 25-17.
