TRITON — The Hayfield volleyball team won its third straight match to start the season when it swept Triton (0-2 overall, 0-1 HVL) 25-21, 25-13, 25-14 on the road Tuesday.

Dani Wagner had 11 kills and seven digs for the Vikings (3-0 overall, 1-0 HVL) and Jo Bungum had 11 digs and four kills.

“They were a scrappy team,” Hayfield head coach Jeremy Struck said. “If we control what happens on our side and we attack, we’re going to come out on top a lot.”
