Football: Awesome Blossoms top Waterville-Elysian-Morristown

The Blooming Prairie football team won its fourth straight game to start the season when it beat Waterville-Elysian-Morristown (1-3 overall) in BP Friday.

BP (4-0 overall) took a 14-6 lead into halftime as John Rumpza hit Hunter Rudlong for a 10-yard TD pass and he found Cole Sunde on a 65-yard scoring strike.

Rumpza threw for 260 yards in the win and Jake Decker ran for 87 yards and a score.
