Austin’s Denny Charnecki and the DC Drifters are headed to Pine Island.

The group, which plays 1950s and ‘60s rock ‘n’ roll, will play its Buddy Holly tribute show 7 p.m. Saturday at the Olde Pine Theatre in Pine Island, 113 Second St. SW. Tickets are $15 in advance from Hardware Hank, The Rainbow Cafe, The Better Brew Coffeehouse and Borgy Boyz or $17 at the door.

Songs include hits from Buddy Holly, Richie Valens, Neil Diamond and more.
