Austin Youth Hockey participants and parents can still sign up for the Tyler Brady scholarship during hockey registration, which will take place from 6 to 8 p.m. Tuesday, Oct. 1, at Riverside Arena.
“We have money that we would like to give as scholarships to Austin Youth Hockey parents,” said Michelle Brady, Tyler’s mother.
The Bradys have formed a scholarship committee and have earmarked $4,500 to be used for scholarships this school year, with any excess funds left to be used as part of next year’s scholarship pool.
Scholarships will range from $100 to $500.
Parents can find a registration form on the Austin Youth Hockey web site at www.austinyouthhockey.org. All applications are due on Oct. 1.
