Patricia “Putts” Darlene Taylor, 76, of Bloomington, Minn., died of heart failure Aug. 9, 2013, at Methodist Hospital in St. Louis Park.

Patricia was born Oct. 30, 1936, in Austin, Minn., to Andrew and Viola (Meek) Majerus. She married Robert L. Taylor on June 29, 1968, in Austin and worked for a long time at Quest Diagnostics. Her hobbies included scrapbooking, cooking and baking.

She is survived by her son, Jay (Donna Palmquist) Taylor; sisters, Barbara Wannarka, Janice Teich and Janet (Mel) Haldorson; brother, Gary (Pam) Majerus; sister-in-law, Pat (Jack) King; brothers-in-law John (Charylene) Taylor, Larry (Joyce) Taylor, Ken (Marge) Taylor; cousins, nieces and nephews.

Patricia was preceded in death by her husband, Robert Taylor; sisters Dorothy Mandt and Mary Lou Majerus; and brother, Ron Majerus.

A service will be held at 2 p.m. Aug. 30, 2013, at the Cremation Society of Minnesota, 7110 France Ave. S. in Edina, Minn., with the Rev. Jack Heidenreich officiating. Visitation will be held one hour prior. Interment will be in Fort Snelling National Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorials are preferred to the donor’s favorite charity.
