The Austin Packer Classic golf tournament will be held in Austin Country Club July 15.

The day begins with lunch and a putting contest at noon, the shot gun start will begin at 1 p.m., and a dinner, raffle and silent auction will be held at 7 p.m.

The entry fee is $110 per golfer and the fee includes a golf cart, 18 holes of golf, lunch and dinner. A silent auction, a raffle and pin prizes at every hole are also included.

The event is the biggest fundraiser for the Austin Public Education Foundation each year. Last year it raised $20,000. The funds enable the foundation to provide educational opportunities for students that are not funded through the school district.

The foundation has given more than $370,000 to enrich learning in Austin Public Schools.
