NWS issues severe thunderstorm warning

The National Weather Service in La Crosse, Wis., has issued a severe thunderstorm warning until 4:15 p.m. for southern Mower County.

According to NWS, a severe thunderstorm was located near Lyle at 3:24 p.m. today, and was moving east. Quarter-sized hail and 60 mph wind gusts accompany the storm, which may cause damage to roofs, siding, trees and vehicles.

The storm will approach Adams around 3:35 p.m. and LeRoy around 4 p.m. NWS advises residents move to an interior room on the lowest floor of a building for shelter.
