Kenneth W. Andersen, 81, of Lyle, Minn., died Saturday, June 29, 2013, at Mayo Clinic Health System of Austin, Minn.

Kenneth Wayne Andersen was born Oct. 21, 1931, in Austin to Theodore Peter and Ethel Edna (McCorkill) Andersen. He married Sadie Oldenkamp on July 15, 1978, in Oakland, Minn. Together they lived on the farm near Lyle where Kenneth had lived since 1946. Kenneth enjoyed spending time on the farm where he enjoyed hunting in earlier years. Kenneth will be missed by his family and friends and his puppy, Charley.

Survivors include his wife Sadie Andersen, Lyle; two sisters-in-law, Trish Andersen, Rose Creek and Donna Andersen, Austin; nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents Theodore and Ethel Andersen, and five brothers.

Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. on Wednesday, July 3, 2013, at Worlein Funeral Home Chapel with Pastor Tim Smith officiating. Visitation will be held at the Worlein Funeral Home in Austin for one hour prior to the service. Interment will be in Oakwood Cemetery, Austin.
