Angela Emma (Krebsbach) Slowinski, 86, of Austin, Minn., died Tuesday morning, July 23, 2013, at Sacred Heart Care Center.

Angela was born Sept. 30, 1926, in Johnsburg, Minn., to Matthew and Christina (Juenger) Krebsbach. On Sept. 5, 1950, she was united in marriage to Joseph Slowinski in Johnsburg.

Angela was an amazing wife, mother and grandmother who was always there to help. She found happiness in doing for others. Angela enjoyed the outdoors and loved working in her flower garden, sewing, baking, bowling with her friends on league and spending time with her grandchildren. She will be deeply missed by all.

Survivors include five sons, Alan (Roxann) Slowinski, Lansing, Minn., Jack (Donna) Slowinski, Kasson, Minn., Roger (Jean) Slowinski, Gretna, Neb., Larry (Tammera) Slowinski, Forest Lake, Minn., Robert Slowinski (Juan), Ft. Lauderdale, Fla.; two daughters, Anita Fett (Jeffrey Lindroth), Bruno, Minn., and Shirley (Brad) Finke, Austin; 25 grandchildren; 37 great-grandchildren; brother, Ambrose (Helen) Krebsbach, Rose Creek, Minn.

She is preceded in death by her husband, Joseph Slowinki; parents; sisters, Marie Homez, Genevieve Pavlik and Odelia Mayhew; brothers, Walter and Wilfred Krebsbach; grandchildren, Daniel and Jessica Slowinski; son-in-law, Randy Fett.

A funeral Mass will be celebrated at 11 a.m. on Wednesday, July 31, 2013, at Queen of Angels Catholic Church with Father Dale Tupper officiating. There will be a 4 p.m. CCW rosary and a 6:30 p.m. wake service on Tuesday at Mayer Funeral Home where friends may call from 4 to 7 p.m. and also one hour before the service at the church on Wednesday.
