Austin Police allegedly discovered a Mapleview woman with a felony on record carrying a Taser during a traffic stop this morning.

According to a report, an officer stopped a vehicle shortly after 1 a.m. this morning on the 300 block of West Oakland Avenue after the 23-year-old male driver committed a traffic violation. The passenger, a 38-year-old woman, was charged with felon in possession of an electronic incapacitation device.

The driver, also from Mapleview, was cited for no insurance, the report stated.
