The Austin Adapted Bowling team had a few strong performances at the state tournament in Brooklyn Park May 17.

Rachel Cook and Kaylee McDermott took first place in the Doubles Divisions in Physically Impaired. Katie Schroeder took fifth in the Cognitive Impaired singles Division and McDermott took eighth and Cook took ninth in the PI singles.

“They were super excited. When they do the awards the whole place is going nuts,” Austin head coach Corey Christopherson said. “It’s really exciting for them to get medals and place. Just the experience is great and they were really pumped. It was a really good day for all of the kids.”
