Austin police officers received a report of a stolen Pontiac Trans Am around 2:20 p.m. Sunday. The vehicle was taken from the 1000 block of Fifth Avenue Northeast sometime between midnight and 2 p.m. that day.

The car, tan with the license plate VYZ-424, was unlocked with keys in the ignition at the time it was taken, according to the report. Police have not yet found the vehicle and currently have no suspects in the theft.
