Suspect charged with selling meth to informant

The Mower County Attorney’s Office has charged an Austin woman with felonies for selling methamphetamine to a confidential informant four times last summer.

Amy Ann Kujak, 24, of Austin, faces charges for first-degree drug sale of more than 10 grams of meth within 90 days, three charges of second-degree drug sale of three grams of meth and one charge of third-degree drug sale of meth.

According to the court complaint, the informant bought meth from Kujak on July 11, July 25, July 31 and Aug. 24 in 2012 at several different locations, including a home in the 700 block of Fourth Avenue Northwest, and turned over the drugs to police.

Officers arrested Kujak on a warrant on May 20. Her next court appearance is set for May 30.
