DOVER — The Southland baseball team closed out its regular season with a 9-5 win over Dover-Eyota (8-7 overall) on the road Monday.

Nick Schmitz was 2-for-3 with a double and three RBIs for the Rebels (11-2 overall).

Southland will open the Section 1A West Division as a No. 2 seed and it will host No. 7 Lyle-Pacelli Thursday at 5 p.m.
