HAYFIELD – The Hayfield softball team won its own tournament by beating Kenyon-Wanamingo 9-7 in the title game in Hayfield Saturday.

The Vikings (8-3 overall) beat Houston 12-6, topped Medford 19-6 in five innings in the tournament and they beat Glenville-Emmons 17-2 in five innings Friday.

Hayfield junior Dani Wagner went 11-for-12 over the weekend and Kailee Siemers and Grace Mindrup each homered for the Vikings against Medford.
