Gregory May, 94, of Adams, Minn., died Monday, May 20, 2013, at the Adams Health Care Center.

Greg was born March 20, 1919, in Johnsburg, Minn., to John and Margaret (Rauen) May. Greg was married to Priscilla Heimer on June 24, 1941, in Johnsburg. They farmed near Johnsburg until they moved to Adams 25 years ago. Greg enjoyed spending time with his family and grandchildren, horse pulling and was proud of the flowers around his house.

Greg was preceded in death by his wife Priscilla; brothers Phillip and Fred; sisters, Hilldagard, Leona and Alvina. He is survived by his children, Liz and Clifford Kiefer, Taopi, Minn., Jim and Barb May, Adams, Pat and Glenn Blake, Siren, Wis.; grandchildren, Jeff Blake, Deena (Blake) Eide, Rod Blake, Gene Kiefer, Brenda May, Lisa (May) Kirtz, Denise (May) Fiedler; and 11 great-grandchildren.

A funeral Mass will be celebrated at 11 a.m. Friday, May 24, at St. John the Baptist Catholic Church, Johnsburg, with Father Thomas Loomis officiating. Interment will be in the St. John’s Cemetery. Visitation will be at the Adams Funeral Home on Thursday from 4 to 7:30 p.m. with a 4 p.m. rosary and a 7:30 p.m. prayer service. Visitation will also be held on Friday morning at the funeral home from 9:30 to 10:30 a.m.
