Blooming Prairie softball team clinches Gopher Conference title

RANDOLPH — The Blooming Prairie softball team clinched the Gopher Conference Championship when it beat Randolph (12-3 overall, 9-2 Gopher) 4-0 in Randolph Thursday.

BP senior pitcher Shelbi Swenson struck out 12 as she threw her 11th shutout of the season.

BP has finished its regular season and the Blossoms will enter the Section 1A tournament as the top seed and host either Medford or Glenville-Emmons on Monday at 5 p.m.
