Blooming Prairie baseball team edges FBA

FARIBAULT — Blooming Prairie junior Ryan Doerhoefer made his first mound start of the year count as he scattered six hits in a 2-1 win over Faribault Bethlehem Academy (4-1 overall) on the road Tuesday.

The Awesome Blossoms (2-3-1 overall) turned two double plays in the win.

“We made some very good defensive plays and Ryan pitched a very good game,” BP head coach Paul Peterson said.
